fREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

Coaching Faqs

  • What types of coaching do you offer?

Robbins Advisory provides executive wellness coaching and leadership coaching, helping professionals navigate both personal and professional challenges that positively impact how they show up as their best self.

  • Who is your coaching for?

Coaching is designed for C-suite executives, consultants, directors, leaders with potential, and other industry professionals seeking clarity, resilience, and growth.

  • Who leads the coaching sessions?

All sessions are led by a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), who has greater than 10 years of executive-level or senior leader experience.

  • How do I get started?

You can book a complimentary 20-minute discovery call to clarify your goals and ensure that Robbins Advisory is the right fit.

  • How long does a typical coaching engagement last?

Each individual and situation is different, but on average it takes 3 - 5 sessions to work through one particular challenge–from goal setting to feeling confident in achieving that goal.

  • How is coaching different from consulting or therapy?

Coaching is future-based and growth-oriented. It focuses on personal and professional development, goal-setting, and actionable change. Coaching is different from therapy in that therapy helps you heal from what happened, while coaching helps you build what’s next.

Our executive wellness coaching services are also distinct from purely business consulting because they center on the individual: personal clarity and growth focused on leadership, wellness, and development.

Facilitation faqs

  • What kinds of sessions do you facilitate?

Robbins Advisory offers facilitation opportunities such as board retreats, leadership workshops, and workforce development programs. We tailor each of them to your company’s unique goals.

  • What topics can be covered in a facilitation engagement?

Topics listed include change management & building resilience; Reducing burnout and obtaining work-life balance; Accountable strategic planning; Impactful and effective communication; How to build great teams; Strategies to manage conflict; leadership essentials.

  • How does the process work? What’s the first step?

You can begin with a complimentary 20-minute discovery call to discuss your organization's needs and learn more about the Robbins Advisory approach.

  • Do you host virtually or only in-person?

Robbins Advisory offers both virtual and in-person workshops and facilitated sessions. Being together in the same room creates a level of connection, candor, and shared energy that’s hard to replicate. It allows participants to fully engage in the experience and step away from daily distractions.

That said, Robbins Advisory can also provide high-quality virtual sessions for teams who are remote or geographically spread out. Our virtual facilitation is designed to be interactive and impactful, ensuring that no matter where your team is located, they receive a valuable and engaging experience.

  • How do we prepare for a workshop?

At Robbins Advisory, every workshop begins with deep listening. We take the time to understand your organization, your culture, and the specific goals you want to achieve. This includes meeting with your event lead and/or core team to clarify desired outcomes, identify key themes, and shape content that aligns with your priorities.

From there, we design a customized (and fun!) experience that blends meaningful dialogue with interactive exercises to keep participants fully engaged. Our approach ensures that every voice feels heard, creating a space where people feel comfortable contributing. In short, we prepare by understanding you first, then building a thoughtfully tailored, energizing, and results-driven experience

Speaking faqs

  • What types of speaking engagements do you offer?

Robbins Advisory offers speaking engagement services in a variety of formats: keynotes, workshop-style talks, and podcast-style conversations are just a few examples! Every speaking engagement is tailored to the specific audience.

  • What are your main speaking themes or topics?

We focus on navigating change, building resilience, leading with empathy, finding clarity, and unlocking personal and professional growth with structure and compassion.

  • What is your experience as a speaker?

Shari has 25 years of executive-level operations consulting experience, plus a lengthy track record as both a coach and facilitator. She has presented at dozens of conferences across the country, offering inspiring personal reflection to support proven tactics to create effective change.

  • What makes your speaking different from others?

I believe my speaking stands apart because it is rooted not only in deep expertise but in real, lived experience and undeniable personal authenticity. I’ve spent decades working as a consultant and coach, helping leaders manage complex change and find balance in demanding environments.

But what truly shapes my voice is that as an executive, I’ve lived through deep personal crises that tested my resilience, forced me to reevaluate my priorities, and taught me about vulnerability, strength, and purpose. Because of this, I bring to the stage a depth of empathy and honesty that resonates. I don’t just talk about leadership, resilience or work-life balance — I’ve lived the hard parts, and I’ve rebuilt. That gives me a unique vantage: I can speak about change not just from theory, but from the heart.

There is nothing generic about my talks; I offer you someone who knows business and leadership as well as someone who’s been tested, healed, and emerged committed to motivate others to find resilience and purpose.
